This is a single cask Ardbeg, distilled on 12 September 2012 and bottled on 3 October 2022 at 10 years old. It was matured in a first-fill charred red wine hogshead, number 4046, and bottled at 56% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The release is limited to 295 bottles. Tasting notes describe subtle peat smoke, hints of citrus and delicate oak on the nose, a balance of peat and sweet malt on the palate, and a light, lingering finish of smoke and fruit.
