Ardbeg Lord of the Isles is a 25 year old Islay single malt, bottled unchillfiltered at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It comes in its original box with a scroll. Long maturation has softened and deepened the smoky character that Ardbeg is known for, bringing in a delicate sweetness. The official notes describe a peaty complexity of wood smoke, tarry rope and leather, balanced by that delicate sweetness.
