This is a 25 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the oldest whisky in the distillery's core range.
It comes from casks filled during some of the distillery's darkest days, and shows that age has not tamed Ardbeg's smoky character.
Peaches mingle with tangy grapefruit, alongside gentle peat and bonfire smoke. The finish is smooth and satisfying.
