Ardbeg – 27 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch 19 (50cl, 50.6%)

This is a 27 year old Ardbeg single malt from Islay, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as Batch 19. It was bottled in 2018 at 50.6% ABV, in a 50cl bottle, with an outturn of 438 bottles. The label features Geert Bero, a nod to the Ardbeg enthusiast community. The nose has citrus zest, dried apricots and raspberries with cardamom and mint, while the palate brings peaty smoke with dark chocolate and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with caramelised apple and cinnamon.
