Ardbeg An Oa is a single malt whisky from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, Scotland, in a 70cl bottle. It is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and virgin oak barrels.
Amber in colour, it has a nose of savoury peat smoke with ripe tropical fruit, freshly baked pastries and a touch of brine. The palate is creamy, with smoke, caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, warm spices, roasted coffee beans and oak, leading to a long finish.
