Ardbeg – An Oa

Ardbeg An Oa is a single malt Scotch whisky from Ardbeg on Islay, added to the distillery's Ultimate range. It is rounded in character thanks to time in a newly established oak Gathering Vat, where whiskies from several cask types come together, including sweet Pedro Ximenez, spicy virgin charred oak and intense ex-bourbon casks. The notes describe smoky power softened by a smooth sweetness: Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed, wrapped in silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, building to an intense finish of flavour.
