Ardbeg – Anthology: The Harpy's Tale 13 Year Old (46%)

Ardbeg Anthology: The Harpy's Tale is a 13 year old Islay single malt and a first for the distillery. It belongs to the Ardbeg Anthology Collection, which draws on tales of strange creatures said to stalk Islay. This edition is inspired by the Harpy, a winged beast said to inhabit the island. The whisky was matured for 13 years in Sauternes wine casks and married with classic Ardbeg from ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46%. Smoke gives way to sweetness, with Ardbeg's character set against the richness of the Sauternes casks.
