The Harpy's Tale is a 13 year old Ardbeg from the Anthology series, in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. It is non-chill filtered.
It marries whisky matured in sweet Sauternes wine casks with Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks. The idea was first imagined only as a flight of fantasy.
Smoked lemon peel and balsamic vinegar lead, followed by fresh apricots and notes of tarry rope, with sweetness and smoke in balance.
