Ardbeg Ardbog is a limited edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky released for the 2013 Islay Whisky Festival. Aged for 10 years in American ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish Manzanilla sherry butts, it was bottled in 2013 at 52.1% ABV, with approximately 13,000 bottles produced.
Orange, apple, dried fig and gentle spice introduce a palate of honey, toasted almonds and dark chocolate with a smoky edge. The warming finish brings toasted caramel, nutmeg and gentle smoke.
