Ardbeg – Ardbog 2013 Release (70cl)

Ardbeg Ardbog is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, released in 2013 and sold in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of different Ardbeg styles, in which rich, salty whiskies are balanced by softer, sweeter casks. The name nods to the marshy wetlands of Islay and the peaty roots of the distillery. Its smoky sweetness is woven together with salty, savoury whiskies that spent at least ten years in ex-Manzanilla sherry casks.
