Ardbeg Ardbog is a limited Islay single malt bottled at 52.1% ABV. It takes its name from the bogs of Scotland.
The whisky spent 10 years maturing in ex-Bourbon casks and Manzanilla sherry casks, which shapes its strong character.
The nose brings peat, smoke, salt and roasted notes. The palate is full and robust, with tar, smoke, a touch of medicine, salted peanuts and caramel. The finish is very long and dry, with a slight sweetness.
