Ardbeg Ardcore is the Ardbeg Day 2022 release from Islay, a single malt bottled at 46% vol in a 70cl bottle.
Its distinctive profile comes from black malt roasted to the extreme, and it has been likened to biting on a spiky ball. It is a dram with its black heart on show, made for the most devoted Ardbeg fans.
The nose brings charcoal and sweet smoke, while the palate carries aniseed and dark chocolate.
