Ardbeg Ardcore is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, released as a limited edition in May 2022. It is an experimental bottling made with roasted black malt barley, and its label carries a punk rock design that ties in with Ardbeg Day.
The nose brings apple, white peach, grapefruit and lime zest, with a hint of fresh oak. Smoke leads on the palate, alongside charcoal, pineapple and spiced malt. The finish is long, with bittersweet chocolate and cracked black pepper.
