This is an Ardbeg Committee edition made as a tribute to Mickey Heads, who ran the Islay distillery for 13 years. It was matured in former rye casks, and is a single malt Scotch. It has the profile typical of the distillery, with a frank and intense peatiness that is shaded by spicy, vegetal and caramelised notes.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
