Ardbeg Auriverdes is a single malt from Islay, released in 2014 to mark Ardbeg Day and Brazil's hosting of that year's World Cup. It has a vibrant green presentation and is matured in American oak casks with toasted ends, at 49.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with a 12 year age statement.
Tangerine, pineapple and dried cherries lead the nose. The palate brings creamy coffee, dark chocolate, peach and subtle peat smoke, and the finish is spicy liquorice with a menthol freshness.
