Ardbeg Corryvreckan is a limited edition single malt from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, founded in 1815 by John McDougall. It is non-chill-filtered and takes its name from the famous whirlpool off the north of the island. The nose begins with apple and wild berries, which give way to peat, tobacco and spice. The palate is smoky and firm, with coffee, bitter almonds and star anise.
