Ardbeg – Dolce (Committee Release)

Ardbeg Dolce is a limited-edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky, released through the Ardbeg Committee. It was matured in ex-Marsala and ex-Bourbon casks to mark the meeting of two islands, Sicily and Islay, and pairs Ardbeg's peaty character with Mediterranean influences. Its colour is a deep amber. The nose is floral and fruity, with apricot, baked apple, dates, orange marmalade, pine needles, olives and capers. The palate brings cinnamon, star anise and liquorice, then honey, cocoa and toasted notes, ending with a light salty, herbal touch.
