Ardbeg Drum is a limited edition Islay single malt bottled at 46% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Ardbeg to be taken out of ex-bourbon casks and rested for a time in ex-rum casks from America.
Ardbeg was founded in 1815 and is known for peaty, smoky and complex Islay malt.
The colour is dark gold. Pine resin and wood smoke sit alongside ripe banana and pineapple, followed by lavender, liquorice and vanilla, leading to a long, smoky finish.
