Ardbeg Fermutation is a 13 year old Islay single malt made with an extended three-week fermentation. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and is non-chill-filtered, bottled at 49.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is bright citrus, with lemon zest and subtle cedarwood. The palate is rich malt with a touch of toffee and gentle spice, and the finish is long-lasting, with delicate saline and leather notes.
