Ardbeg – Hypernova (70cl, 51%)

Ardbeg Hypernova is a small batch Islay single malt, a Committee Release bottled in 2022 at 51% in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration and is often known by its release number, HN2022. It extends the heavily peated Supernova editions, which first appeared in 2008, and was marketed as the distillery's smokiest whisky to date. Its phenol content is 170 ppm, more than three times Ardbeg's usual level of peat.
