Ardbeg – Smokiverse Ardbeg Day 2025 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 48.3%)

Smokiverse is the Ardbeg Day 2025 Committee release, an Islay single malt that also marks twenty five years of the Ardbeg Committee. It is the distillery's first whisky made with high gravity mashing, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 48.3%, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour. The nose opens on smoked bubblegum, ripening barley and toasted sourdough, then tropical fruit, and turns to dense peat with water. The palate is rich and creamy, with intense peat, tar, aniseed and clove over brown sugar, and the finish is long, sooty and spiced.
