Ardbeg – Smokiverse (70cl, 48.3%)

Smokiverse is a limited edition Islay single malt from Ardbeg, bottled at 48.3% without chill-filtration in a 70cl bottle. It marks 25 years of the Ardbeg Committee in 2025. The whisky is an experiment in high gravity mashing, in which less water and more grain go into the mash tun. This gives a denser wort, which the distillery says amplifies the sweet, fruity esters and gives a whisky of notable intensity and depth.
