Ardbeg Supernova SN2015 is the final Committee bottling of Ardbeg Supernova, one of the peatiest whiskies around. It marks the end of Ardbeg's experiment in space, and its release coincides with Dr Bill Lumsden's White Paper on zero gravity maturation. The peat level is given as 100ppm. The nose brings peppery aromatic herbs, smoked fruits, briny seaweed and fennel, ending on earthy vetiver root. Spice, salted caramel and billowing smoke lead the palate, and the finish is long and peppery.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
