This is Ardbeg Traigh Bhan, a 19 year old Islay single malt from Batch 6, bottled at 46.2 per cent ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It has matured with a slightly higher share of Oloroso sherry casks than earlier releases. The series takes its name from Traigh Bhan beach on Islay, and this batch was bottled at full moon.
It is described as minty and herbal, with intense smoke lingering behind.
