This is an early bottling of Ardbeg Uigeadail from Islay, taken from the first batch of the series and bottled in 2003. It is at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle and comes with its box.
Uigeadail is a marriage of whiskies matured in sherry and bourbon casks, giving a sweet and smoky Islay malt. The name, pronounced oog-a-dal, translates roughly from Gaelic as 'dark and mysterious place' and comes from the loch where Ardbeg sources its water.
