Ardbeg – Uigeadail (70cl)

Uigeadail is an Islay single malt from Ardbeg, in a 70cl bottle. It is named in honour of the nearby loch, whose water the distillery draws on, and it is made from casks of different styles. It is peated and not filtered. The colour is gold with light coppery glints. The nose is rich with peat, ripe fruit, tobacco, wax and dark chocolate. The palate is sweet, almost like sherry, and the finish is very salty and smoky.
