Ardbeg – Uigeadail Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at a high proof with little dilution and no chill filtration. It marries Bourbon and Sherry casks of various ages, and the Sherry maturation adds richness to balance the power. Ardbeg's lighter body and marked salinity set it apart from its Islay neighbours. They come from a purifier under the lyne arm of the stills, which helps separate lighter alcohol molecules from heavier ones and leaves a refined, delicate texture with plenty of concentration. The character is smoke, salt, iodine, peat and citrus.
