Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 54.2% abv. It is a vatting of Ardbeg matured in bourbon barrels and sherry butts, pairing the distillery's smoky character with the raisiny tones of older ex-sherry casks.
It is non chill-filtered, which keeps more flavour and gives extra body. The name is pronounced Oog-a-dal.
The nose is rich, fruity, musty and leathery, with an earthy sweetness, smoke and malt.
