Ardbeg – Uigeadail (70cl, 54.2%)

Ardbeg – Uigeadail is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 54.2% ABV, 70cl. Ardbeg Distillery sits on the southern shore of Islay and is widely regarded as one of the most heavily peated distilleries in Scotland. Founded in 1815, it is now owned by the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton group and operated by Glenmorangie Company. The distillery was closed for much of the 1980s and early 1990s before being revived and has since built a devoted global following. Ardbeg Uigeadail takes its name from the remote loch that supplies the distillery's peat-laden water. This expression is a vatting of different ages of Ardbeg matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, bottled at cask strength of 54.2% vol. It is presented non-chill-filtered and is distilled and bottled in Scotland by Ardbeg Distillery Limited.
