Ardbeg Vintage_Y2K 24 Years Old is part of a series of limited releases from the year 2000, made using the old Ardbeg stills. Dr Bill Lumsden created this batch as a tribute to the Committee's 25th anniversary.
For the first time at Ardbeg, he finished the rediscovered millennium spirit in Amontillado sherry casks, a personal favourite of his. The result is smoky, with creamy toffee, aged leather and toasted almonds. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47.8% ABV.
