A 5-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Ardbeg, bottled at 47.4% ABV. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The nose shows peat smoke, sea salt, citrus zest, vanilla and toffee. The palate is peaty, with brine, seaweed and a medicinal quality. The flavours are bold and robust, with an intense smokiness.
