Ardbeg – Wee Beastie 5 Year Old (75cl, 47.4%)

Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a 5 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 47.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from Ardbeg's heavily peated distillate. At five years old the whisky has spent a relatively short time in oak, so the peat smoke comes through directly and the character of the spirit leads. It is typically described as having toffee sweetness and espresso alongside raw Ardbeg smoke, with little oak influence.
