Ardgowan – Clydebuilt Shipwright (70cl, 48%)

Clydebuilt Shipwright is a blended malt from Ardgowan, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines Speyside and Highland single malts, all aged in first fill sherry casks. It is non chill-filtered and shows its natural colour. It belongs to the Clydebuilt series, which celebrates the heritage of the shipbuilders of the river Clyde. The palate brings marzipan, Ceylon tea and dried spices, with hints of tobacco, orange peel, black cherries and treacle. The finish is gentle and dry at first, then moves into lingering spice.
