Ardgowan – Discovery Series No 1

Discovery 1 is a limited-edition Lowland single malt from Ardgowan, released in 500 bottles. It was distilled in 2011. The whisky comes from a couple of casks that turned out too small in volume to supply the distillery's Clydebuilt Series, so they were bottled separately as this release. The spirit has spent over two years maturing in rich Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
