This is a 10 year old single cask Highland single malt from Ardmore, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Provenance series. It was distilled in 2008, matured in a refill butt and bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV, with no colouring and no chill-filtration. The cask produced 305 bottles.
The nose combines smoky peat, fresh honey and a hint of green apple. The palate balances mineral and spicy notes over ripe pear. The finish is medium in length, lightly smoky, with a dry warmth.
