It belongs to the Chronicles series from Clan Denny, which draws on Scottish myths and legends. This edition tells of the Green Lady, a spectre said to haunt Crathes Castle, a 16th-century building nearby. She is said to appear always in the same room, pacing in front of a disused fireplace.
