This is a 12 year old Ardmore single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 46%. It matured in an ex-bourbon cask and then received a finish in a port cask.
Ardmore is one of the few distilleries producing smoky whisky away from the Scottish islands. The Highlands are not generally known for peaty bottlings. The combination of ex-bourbon maturation and port finish sets this bottling apart.
