This is an Ardmore 2008 aged 14 years, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in a 70cl bottle.
The nose shows peat that is present without being overbearing, together with malted barley, heather honey, candied citrus and a little white pepper.
On the palate it is round through the middle and dry towards the end, with smoke that stays compact and controlled, a light savoury note, toasted hazelnut and dark chocolate.
