This is a 12 year old Ardmore, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Signatory for Whisky Live Paris. It is a peated single malt matured in an ex-oloroso sherry cask, which pairs Ardmore's heather smoke with a fruity, toffee sweetness.
The nose offers burnt liquorice, walnut and peat smoke. On the palate come milk chocolate and honeysuckle, set over a pleasing oily smokiness.
