This Ardmore is a 25 year old Highland single malt selected by independent bottlers Phil and Simon Thompson. It was distilled in 1998 and 1999, matured in two refill hogsheads and bottled in November 2024 at 48.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose shows ripe fruit, honey, vanilla and light smoke. On the palate come malty sweetness, oak spice, caramel and a fine peat note. The finish is long, warm and complex, balancing sweetness and smoke.
