Ardmore – 25 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Ardmore (Highland). Aged 25 years, bottled at 51.4% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & quarter casks. A mildly-peated, non-chill-filtered Highland single malt whisky. Aged 25-years, it was double cask-matured, initially in ex-bourbon barrels and then in quarter casks which due to their very small size allow greater contact with the wood, thus enhancing maturation. A malt whisky distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland. It was built by Adam Teacher at the end of the 19th century in order to service the blending needs of his family company, Wm. Teacher & Sons and is today the distillery is part of the portfolio Suntory Global Spirits.
