Ardnahoe – 5 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1 (70cl, 60.9%)

Ardnahoe Cask Strength Batch 1 is an Islay single malt aged for five years and bottled at its natural cask strength of 60.9%, in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely from spirit matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, hand selected for their fullness of character. It is bottled with no artificial colouring and no chill-filtration. The nose brings coastal brine, earthy peat and rich cocoa. On the palate come orchard fruits, herbal tea and salted caramel, leading into a smoky finish with citrus undertones.
