Ardnahoe The Inaugural Release is a five-year-old Islay single malt, the first release from the distillery the Laing family long wanted to establish on the island.
The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 50%, the strength Ardnahoe prefers. The spirit is made with two worm tubs and very long lyne arms, which allow extensive contact with copper.
It is described as fruity and peaty.
