Ardnahoe – Càraid Ìleach PX Quarter Cask 2025 (70cl, 50%)

Ardnahoe Càraid Ìleach PX Quarter Cask is an Islay single malt matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter casks. It was bottled in 2025 at 50% in a 70cl bottle, as a limited edition of 2,613 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The small PX casks give the whisky a deep dark-fruit and sherry character, set alongside the smoke of the distillery. The nose has raspberries, stewed plums, candied orange and Islay smoke. On the palate there are sultanas, figs, cinnamon, sherry sweetness and smoke. The finish is long and warm, with fruit and gentle smoke.
