This is the second batch of the Cask Strength edition from Ardnahoe, the Islay distillery that began production in 2018. It is a five-year-old single malt.
The whisky matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled straight from the cask at 61% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour. It is released as a limited edition and follows the first Cask Strength release.
