Ardnahoe Inaugural Release is the first whisky from the Islay distillery, which opened in 2018 and is owned by Stewart Laing. It is a 5 year old single malt, bottled in 2024 at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks from the USA and ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
