Ardnahoe Manager's Selection Second Release is a small batch single malt from the Islay distillery, chosen by distillery manager David Livingstone. It is bottled at 59.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is five years old and was matured in bourbon and PX casks. The release runs to 607 individually numbered bottles.
Cinnamon spice and candied apple on the nose lead to caramel sweetness, red fruit and dark chocolate on the palate. The finish is warm and lingering, with star anise and bonfire embers.
