This Ardnamurchan is an unpeated single malt bottled at 58.2%, in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was matured in bourbon casks and then re-racked into Madeira casks. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, and 5,781 bottles were released worldwide.
The nose offers burnt caramel and honey-coated dates, with hints of bitter walnut oil and blood orange marmalade. The palate brings rich jasmine tea, panna cotta, waxy honey and subtle red fruits, and the finish carries tobacco leaf and spice.
