This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of bourbon barrel and sherry cask.
On the nose there is coconut, oat biscuits and zesty orange peel, with salt, sun-warmed boat deck and bonfire leaves, then strawberry laces, wine gums and fresh mint. The palate is mouth-coating, with custard creams, vanilla wafer, brine, porridge oats and earthy smoke. The finish is smoky, maritime and warming.
