This is a Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, a Madeira cask release in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of cocoa powder, stewed plums, sugared almonds and bread and butter pudding, with nutmeg, sandalwood, bracken, fruit scone and red currants. On the palate come cinnamon sweets, cedar bark, toffee apple and salted trail mix with chocolate chips, alongside rosemary stalks, pine needles and strawberries with black pepper. The finish is long, dusty and slightly drying.
